The gospel story changed my life at a sleepover, curled up on a hardwood floor my freshman year in high school—hungry for meaning.
I believed in Jesus that night. Barely.
Since the midnight awakening, my faith strengthened through adolescent adventure, college wandering, and more than 20 years of ministry leadership.
God has always proved faithful—in joyful circumstances and in every broken season.
This is the story I share.
I live on reheated coffee and a secret stash of dark chocolate while pulling up my sleeves to love my people well. Three gifts (10, 7, and 4) call me mom and the hubs is a discipleship pastor at a church in Indy. We moved here during the pandemic, as if life didn’t already have enough change. Ha.
I graduated from Dallas Seminary in 2021 and have received numerous awards for freelance writing from the Evangelical Press Association. I work with a variety of Christian organizations and hold to conservative Christian doctrine, but also practice, “in essentials unity, in non-essentials liberty, in all things charity.” Please contact me if you would like a more detailed statement of faith.
